TIBETAN MONK SKULL as a symbol of death
Buddhism believes in reincarnation.
In Tibetan esoteric Buddhism, it is said that the dead body is buried in a bird funeral, and that only certain monks keep it as a ritual tool.
Particularly important is the head, which can be opened to release knowledge. It is said that knowledge and experience are passed down by drinking alcohol and other drinks on the top of the head.
It is said that after that, it is carefully decorated with respect and enshrined in a temple.
You can feel a special aura just by looking at it. Many people may have been drawn into it without even realizing it.
When I stare at a Tibetan skull, I become a person who is not afraid of death.
I have been walking towards death since I was born, and even if I died tomorrow, I would not regret it.
If you can pursue your goal without fear of death, you should have nothing to fear.
Let's live fully in the present.

There is a Tibetan skull, a Tibetan monk's skull with beautiful decorations.
It was in the mid-1980s that I heard that it was something that was difficult to obtain, but very nice. It was Kathmandu, Nepal.
Kathmandu at the time was one of the paradises pioneered by hippies in the 1970s. It was a place that had a lot of different things to offer and made me feel exhausted.
Come to think of it, this is where I learned about DORJE, which later became my hit jewelry series, so I don't know what will work for me in life.
As I experience more and more, I often wonder if everything was inevitable.
It's been around 2000. I walk around shops that sell Tibetan Buddhist ritual tools, chanting things like ``I want a Tibetan skull'' or ``I want a skull decorated by a Tibetan monk.''
Then I started getting calls telling me that there was one there and that they were coming next time. I wonder if there are 13 bodies or 13 animals. Anyway, by the time I got 13 of them, they stopped appearing on the market and my desire to collect them had subsided.
``13'' may have an unpleasant image, but from a Buddhist perspective, ``13'' is a good number. Using the term ``13 Buddhas'' seems like a lucky number.
Shakyamuni Buddha (Buddha), Fudo Myoo, Manjusri Bosatsu, Fugen Bosatsu, Jizo Bosatsu, Maitreya Bosatsu, Yakushi Nyorai, The 13 Buddhas are Kanzeon Bodhisattva, Seishi Bodhisattva, Amida Nyorai, Amida Nyorai, Dainichi Nyorai, and Kokuzo Bodhisattva. It feels good (lol)
ZOCALO makes such Tibetan skulls (TIBETAN MONK SKULL) into beautiful jewelry.

The photo shows the ring I've been wearing for 15 years. It looks so good that it's dented and scratched.
This photo was taken by my favorite photographer, Noriaki Fukushima, when I went to Kathmandu for the first time in a while.

good. Instead of going back to the drawing board, I would like to go to a place full of memories and take photos with the jewelry I have made and the experience I have gained as I get older.I am so happy.I am grateful.
